Director Hamilton called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.

Councillor Dhaliwal, Commissioner Hawryluk, Commissioner Mortezaee, Commissioner Pollen, Commissioner Tiedemann, Councillor Wong, Director Fromherz, and Director Hamilton.

Absent for Roll Call: Commissioner Navagrah, Commissioner Palmiere (Remote Member) joined the meeting at 1:15 p.m. 

Director Hamilton provided opening remarks and a traditional land acknowledgement.

A clerical correction was noted on pages 1, 2 and 3 of the Cover Report CPC2022-0298, in the title, by deleting the address number "2389" and by substituting with the address number "2839".

    That Calgary Planning Commission recommend that Council give three readings to the proposed bylaw for the redesignation of 0.06 hectares ± (0.14 acres ±) located at 3824 – 16 Street SW (Plan 2869AC, Block B, Lots 11 and 12) from Multi-Residential – Contextual Low Profile (M-C1) District to Residential – Grade-Oriented Infill (R-CG) District.

    2. Give three readings to the proposed bylaw for the redesignation of 0.06 hectares ± (0.14 acres ±) located at 5016 – 21 Avenue NW (Plan 4994GI, Block 50, Lot 4) from Residential – Contextual One Dwelling (R-C1) District to Residential – Contextual One / Two Dwelling (R-C2) District.
    For: (7)Director Fromherz, Commissioner Mortezaee, Commissioner Pollen, Commissioner Palmiere, Councillor Dhaliwal, Commissioner Hawryluk, and Commissioner Tiedemann

Jim Mackey, Carlisle Group, addressed Commission with respect to Report CPC2022-0133.

    That Calgary Planning Commission approve the Development Permit (DP2021-1024) for New: Multi-Residential Development (2 Buildings), Accessory Residential Building (garbage enclosure), Sign - Class C at 1390 Na’a Drive SW (Plan 2110351, Block 2, Lot 10), with conditions (Attachment 2).

    For: (6)Director Fromherz, Commissioner Mortezaee, Councillor Wong, Councillor Dhaliwal, Commissioner Hawryluk, and Commissioner Tiedemann
    Against: (2)Commissioner Pollen, and Commissioner Palmiere
