Director Tita called the meeting to order at 1:03 p.m.

Director Tita authorized Director Vanderputten to be physically present in Council Chamber for today's meeting.

    That the Minutes of the 2020 June 18 Regular Meeting of the Calgary Planning Commission be confirmed.

A presentation entitled “LOC2020-0062 Land Use Amendment DC to C-COR2 f1.0h15", dated 2020 July 01 was electronically distributed and displayed with respect to Report CPC2020-0678.

    That Calgary Planning Commission recommend that Council hold a Public Hearing; and

    1. ADOPT, by bylaw, the proposed redesignation of 0.27 hectares ± (0.67 acres ±) located at 19587 Seton Crescent SE (Portion of Plan 1111669, Block 4, Lot 2) from DC Direct Control District to Commercial – Corridor 2 f1.0h15 (C-COR2 f1.0h15) District; and

       

    2. Give three readings to the proposed bylaw.

A presentation entitled “LOC2020-0008 Land Use Amendment", dated 2020 July 01 was electronically distributed and displayed with respect to Report CPC2020-0604.

David White, CivicWorks addressed Commission with respect to Report CPC2020-0604.

    That Calgary Planning Commission recommend that Council hold a Public Hearing; and

    1.ADOPT, by bylaw, the proposed amendment to the South Calgary / Altadore Area Redevelopment Plan (Attachment 1); and

    2.Give three readings to the proposed bylaw.

    3.ADOPT, by bylaw, the proposed redesignation of 0.12 hectares ± (0.29 acres ±) located at 3711 - 15 Street SW (Plan 4363AG, Block B, Lots 17 to 20) from the Multi-Residential – Contextual Low Profile (M-C1) District to Multi-Residential – Contextual Medium Profile (M-C2) District; and

    4.Give three readings to the proposed bylaw.

    Against: Commissioner Cameron

Committee, by General Consent, heard Item 7.2.3, Report CPC2020-0631 in conjunction with Item 7.2.4, Report CPC2020-0630.

A clerical correction was noted on page 2 of 11 of the Cover Report CPC2020-0631, in the third paragraph, last sentence, by deleting the words "was submitted but has" and by substituting with the words "were submitted but have".

A presentation entitled “LOC2020-0011 Land Use Amendment & Outline Plan", dated 2020 July 01 was electronically distributed and displayed with respect to Report CPC2020-0631 and CPC2020-0630.

    That Calgary Planning Commission:

    1. Direct this report (CPC2020-0631) to the 2020 July 27 Combined Meeting of Council to the Public Hearing portion of the Agenda;

       

    2. Recommend that Council hold a Public Hearing; and

       

      1. ADOPT, by bylaw, the proposed redesignation of 13.15 hectares ± (32.49 acres ±) located at 1350 Country Hills Boulevard NE (Portion of Plan 8910090, Lot 1, Block 3) from DC Direct Control District, Special Purpose – Community and Regional Infrastructure (S-CRI) District and Special Purpose – Urban Nature (S-UN) District to Special Purpose – Community and Regional Infrastructure (S-CRI), Special Purpose – Urban Nature (S-UN) District and DC Direct Control District to accommodate industrial commercial uses, with guidelines (Attachment 2); and

         

      2. Give three readings to the proposed bylaw.
