Councillor Penner called the Meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.

    That the Community Development Committee recommend that Council:

    1. Thank Lieutenant Inkee Kim for his service on the Friends of HMCS Calgary Committee;
    2. Adopt the proposed amendments to the Friends of HMCS Calgary Committee Terms of Reference (Attachment 1) to implement a simplified process for maintaining representation from HMCS Calgary; and
    3. Receive for information the HMCS Calgary Executive Officer’s current designate to serve on the Friends of HMCS Calgary Committee (Attachment 2).

    That the Community Development Committee recommend that Council give three readings to proposed Bylaw (Attachment 1), to grant the Licence and Community Standards Appeal Board authority to hear and decide appeals of enforcement decisions made under the Agricultural Pests Act, and authority to make decisions on appeals about professional dog walker permits made under the Responsible Pet Ownership Bylaw 47M2021.

    That the Community Development Committee recommends that Council:

    1. Give three readings to the attached bylaw (Attachment 2) to amend the Smoking and Vaping Bylaw 23M2018; and
    2. Direct that Administration report back no later than Q2 2022 to update the amendments to the Smoking and Vaping Bylaw 23M2018 with respect to restrictions for parks and pathways.
