Councillor Carra called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.

  That the Agenda for the 2024 May 16 Regular Meeting of the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee be confirmed, after amendment, by setting Item 10.1.1 Summary of Regional Water, Wastewater and Stormwater Servicing (Verbal), IGA2024-0589, to be dealt with following Confirmation of Minutes.

Regional Water, Wastewater and Stormwater Servicing Request for Prairie Economic Gateway, IGA2024-0534

• Moved by Councillor Spencer

  That with respect to Report IGA2024-0534, the following be approved:

  That the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee recommend that Council:

  1. Approve, in principle, the water, wastewater and stormwater services requested by Rocky View County for the Prairie Gateway Area Structure Plan area in their letter dated 2024 March 6; and
  2. Direct Administration to commence Master Servicing Agreement negotiations in alignment with Council Policy on Regional Servicing and the process and approach of the broader Prairie Economic Gateway Initiative.
