Overview of the Upcoming Annual General Meetings of the Shareholder (Verbal), C2022-0784

 

  • Mayor Gondek clarified the purpose of this Regular Meeting of Council. Mayor Gondek advised that the Annual General Meetings of seven various Wholly Owned Subsidiaries would take place today, 2022 June 14, and 2022 June 28.

    That Council recess the meeting to the Call of the Chair.

  • Council recessed at 10:07 a.m. on 2022 June 14 and reconvened at 2:47 p.m. on 2022 June 28 with Mayor Gondek in the Chair.

    That with respect to Verbal Report C2022-0784, the following be adopted: 

    That Council:

    1. Thank all members of the Wholly Owned Subsidiaries for the Annual General Meetings; and
    2. To ensure transparency, request that Administration follow up with each Wholly-Owned corporate Subsidiaries of The City to request that the shareholder materials prepared for the subsidiary's annual general meeting and presented at the public meeting of Council be made publicly available by posting this material on the City of Calgary website.
