Mayor Nenshi called the meeting to order at 9:34 a.m.

Following nomination procedures, Councillor Jones was elected as Vice-Chair, by acclamation.

  • At the top of the box, following "Review By:", by deleting the words "Attachments 1 - 18" and substituting with the words "Attachments 1 - 19";
  • Recommendation 1, by adding a new bullet h. Calgary International Airport Development Appeal Body, and by re-lettering the remaining committees; and
  • Recommendation 2, by deleting the words "Attachments 1 - 18" and substituting with the words "Attachments 1 - 19".

Distribution with respect to 6.1.10, Calgary Police Commission:

A confidential recommendation letter from the Calgary Police Commission, dated 2019 October 17.

    1. The Nominations Committee forward its recommendations made in the Closed meeting (confidential Addendums 1 - 19) to Council for consideration; and
    2. That Report N2019-1165 be released as a public document upon Council's Rise and Report, and direct that Attachments 1 - 19, Addendums 1-18, and all other confidential selection materials related to report N2018-1165 remain confidential pursuant to Sections 17 (Disclosure harmful to personal privacy) and 19 (Confidential evaluations) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
