CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Nenshi called the meeting to order at 1:11 p.m.

CONFIRMATION OF AGENDA

• Moved by Councillor Woolley

  That the Agenda for the 2017 December 06 Personnel Committee be confirmed.

  MOTION CARRIED

ITEMS FROM OFFICERS, ADMINISTRATION AND COMMITTEES

3.1

Addition of the External Member to the Personnel Committee (Verbal) - PC2017-1243

• Moved by Councillor Woolley

  That with respect to Report PC2017-1243, the following be approved:

  1. That Bruce K. Day be appointed as external member of the Personnel Committee; and
  2. That the Personnel Committee report back to Council with the appointment.

3.2

Delegate the Recruitment and Selection to the Working Subcommittee (Verbal) - PC2017-1245

• Moved by Councillor Woolley

  That with respect to Report PC2017-1245, the following be approved:

  That the Personnel Committee delegate the recruitment and selection to the subcommittee with a report back to Council on or before 2018 January 29.

  MOTION CARRIED

Establish Membership of the Working SubCommittee (Verbal) - PC2017-1244

• Moved by Councillor Farkas

  That with respect to Report PC2017-1244, the following be approved:

  That a working subcommittee be established, comprised of the following members:

  1. Mayor N. Nenshi;
  2. Councillor J. Farkas;
  3. Councillor E. Woolley;
  4. City Solicitor and General Counsel G. Cole; and
  5. Mr. B.K. Day
