CALL TO ORDER
 

The Deputy City Clerk called the Meeting to order at 9:33 a.m.

ELECTION OF CHAIR
 

Following nomination procedures, Councillor Sharp was elected Chair of the Event Centre Committee, by acclamation.

ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIR
 

Following nomination procedures, Citizen Member Yedlin was elected Vice-Chair of the Event Centre Committee, by acclamation.

OPENING REMARKS
 

Councillor Sharp provided opening remarks and a traditional land acknowledgement.

    That pursuant to Sections 24 (Advice from officials) and 27 (Privileged information) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Committee now move into Closed Meeting, at 9:43 a.m. in the Engineering Traditions Committee Room, to discuss confidential matters with respect to Item 12.1.1 Event Centre Committee - Legal Briefing - Overview of Mandate and Roles (Verbal), ECC2022-0440.

    MOTION CARRIED

    Councillor Demong (Remote Member) left the meeting at 9:49 a.m.

    Committee reconvened in Public Meeting at 10:24 a.m. with Councillor Sharp in the Chair.

    Due to technical issues, Committee recessed at 10:26 a.m. and reconvened at 10:27 a.m. with Councillor Sharp in the Chair.
