Councillor Sharp called the Meeting to order at 9:35 a.m.

ROLL CALL

Councillor McLean, Councillor Walcott, Citizen Member Parry, Mayor Gondek, Councillor Sharp, Councilor Pootmans, Councillor Spencer, Councillor Wong, and Councillor Chabot.

Absent from Roll Call: Citizen Member Yedlin joined the meeting at 9:38 a.m.

Councillor Sharp provided opening remarks and a traditional land acknowledgement.

    The Chair ruled on the Question of Privilege.


  • Committee reconvened in Public Meeting at 11:35 a.m. with Councillor Sharp in the Chair.

    That with respect to Report ECC2022-0826, the following be approved:

    That the Event Centre Committee recommends that Council:

    1. Receive this report and presentation for the Corporate Record; and
    2. Direct that the confidential presentation, Attachment 2, and Closed Meeting discussions be held confidential pursuant to Sections 16 (Disclosure harmful to business interests of a third party), 24 (Advice from officials), and 25 (Disclosure harmful to economic and other interests of a public body), of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, to be reviewed by 2023 July 31.
