CALL TO ORDER

Councillor Mian called the Meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Councillor Carra, Councillor Chabot, Councillor Penner, Councillor Pootmans, Councillor Wong, Mayor Gondek, and Councillor Mian.

OPENING REMARKS

Councillor Mian provided opening remarks and a traditional land acknowledgment.

By General Consent, Committee agreed that Councillor Mian will Chair the Meeting.

• Moved by Councillor Penner

  That with respect to Report N2022-0395, the following be approved:

  That the Nominations Committee recommend that Council:

  1. Receive for the Corporate Record the enhanced Board, Commission and Committee Short List Form contained in Attachment 1; and
  2. Direct Administration to continue to develop strategies and tools to support consistent review, selection, recommendation, and appointment of public members by the Nominations Committee and Council.
