CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Nenshi called the Meeting to order at 9:33 a.m.

  That the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee:

  1. Request that the Mayor submit a City of Calgary response, based on feedback from the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee, regarding Rocky View County’s application to become a specialized municipality considering opportunities and impacts to The City of Calgary and the region no later than 2020 May 25; and
  2. Direct that the report, presentation, Attachments 5 and 6, and the discussions remain confidential pursuant to Sections 21 (Disclosure harmful to intergovernmental relations), 23 (Local public body confidences) and 24 (Advice from officials) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, to be reviewed by 2030 May 14.
