​Mayor Nenshi called today's meeting to order at 5:03 p.m.

Mayor Nenshi provided opening remarks and a traditional land acknowledgement.

Today's agenda was confirmed by general consent.

    The following Motion Arising be adopted, as follows:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT

    Council endorses a vision of conservation, preservation, and expansion of Calgary's parks system, and directs Administration to draft a policy regarding the sale of City parks for residential or commercial development, reporting back to the successor to the Standing Policy Committee on Utilities and Corporate Services, no later than Q2 2022.

     That the Motion Arising be referred to Administration with a report back to Council with a scoping report and costs as part of the budget deliberations in November."
