    1. Appoint a Council representative and alternate to the newly formed Calgary Metropolitan Region Board Advocacy Committee, set to expire at the 2018 Organizational Meeting of Council; and
    2. Appoint a Council alternate to the Calgary Metropolitan Region Board Land Use Committee, and the Intermunicipal Servicing Committee, set to expire at the 2018 Organizational Meeting of Council.

    That the Administration Recommendations contained in Report IGA2018-0865 be amended by adding a new recommendation 2 as follows:

    2.  Council direct Administration to explore the possibility of lowering the voting age.

    That with respect to Report IGA2018-0865, the following be approved, after amendment and as amended:

    The Intergovernmental Affairs Committee recommends that:

    1. Report IGA2018-0865 be forwarded to the 2018 July 30 meeting of Council as an item of Urgent Business;
    2. Council direct Administration to explore the possibility of lowering the voting age; and
    3. Direct Administration to prepare a Council position reflecting the themes as outlined in the Attachment to Report IGA2018-0865.
