IN CAMERA, Moved by Councillor Pincott, that in accordance with Section 197 of the Municipal Government Act and Sections 23(1)(b), 24(1)(a), 24(1)(c), 25(1)(b) and 25(1)(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee move In Camera, at  10:13 a.m., in order to consider several confidential items.

The Intergovernmental Affairs Committee moved into public session at 11:28 a.m. with Councillor Pincott in the Chair.

DISTRIBUTION

At the request of Administration and with the concurrence of the Mayor, the Legislative Assistant distributed, In Camera, copies of a PowerPoint presentation entitled “Regional Servicing Update”, dated 2017 February 02, with respect to Report IGA2017-0089, which is to remain confidential pursuant to Sections 23(1)(b), 24(1)(a), 24(1)(c), 25(1)(b) and 25(1)(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

APPROVE, Moved by Councillor Chabot, that with respect to Report IGA2017-0089, the following be approved, after amendment:  

That the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee recommend that Council:

1.    Receive this Report for information;

2.    Approve Administration Recommendation 2 contained in Report IGA2017-0089;

3.   Direct that the Report, In Camera discussions and distribution remain confidential pursuant to Sections 23(1)(b), 24(1)(a), 24(1)(c), 25(1)(b) and 25(1)(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, until all agreements have been finalized.

APPROVE, Moved by Councillor Demong, that with respect to Report IGA2017-0140, the following be approved:  

That the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee:

1.    Receive the Provincial Legislation and Regulations Update - Verbal Report, for information; and

2.    Direct that the In Camera discussions and distribution remain confidential pursuant to Sections 23(1)(b), 24(1)(a), 24(1)(c), 25(1)(b) and 25(1)(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
