CALL TO ORDER

Acting City Clerk McDougall called the Regular Meeting of the Gas, Power and Telecommunications Committee to order at 3:00 p.m.

ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR

Following nomination procedures, Councillor Chu was elected Chair, and Councillor Farrell was elected Vice-Chair, of the Gas, Power and Telecommunications Committee, by acclamation.

  That Section 78(2)(b) of Procedure Bylaw 35M20017, be suspended in Order that Committee complete their Agenda.

OPENING REMARKS

Councillor Chu welcomed all present to the first meeting of the Gas, Power and Telecommunications Committee following the election of the new Council.

Councillor Chu also thanked Ms. Kohut for her excellent work for this Committee over the past few years and wished her well in her new endeavors as this is her last meeting of the Gas, Power and Telecommunications Committee.

  That the Agenda for the 2017 December 07 Regular Meeting of the Gas, Power and Telecommunications Committee, be confirmed.

  That, subject to Section 197 of the Municipal Government Act, and Sections 23 and 24 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Gas, Power and Telecommunications Committee move into Closed meeting at 3:10 p.m. to consider several confidential matters with respect to the following Reports:

  2. Direct that the Attachment 2 remain confidential pursuant to Section 24 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act for a period of 15 years.
