CONFIRM AGENDA, Moved by Councillor Stevenson, that the Agenda for the 2017 May 03 Regular Meeting of the SPC on Community and Protective Services be confirmed.

MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SPC ON COMMUNITY AND PROTECTIVE SERVICES, 2017 APRIL 05

 

CONFIRM MINUTES, Moved by Councillor Jones, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the SPC on Community and Protective Services, held on 2017 April 05, be confirmed.

ANNUAL UPDATE ON THE CALGARY POLICE SERVICE, CPS2017-0380

 

 

DISTRIBUTION

 

At the request of the Administration and with the concurrence of the Chair, the Legislative Assistant distributed copies of a PowerPoint Presentation, entitled “Standing Policy Committee on Community and Protective Services”, dated 2017 May, with respect to Report CPS2017-0380.

 

DECLARATION OF INTEREST

 

*Councillor Farrell notified the Chair of a particular interest in all items on the Agenda and was entitled to vote on the items.

RECESS, Moved by Councillor Jones, that the SPC on Community and Protective Services recess at 11:18 a.m. to reconvene at the call of the Chair.

 

CARRIED

 

The SPC on Community and Protective Services reconvened at 11:21 a.m. with Councillor Pootmans in the Chair.

 

 

 

APPROVE, Moved by Councillor Stevenson, that the Administration Recommendation contained in Report CPS2017-0378 be approved, as follows:
